Shine (High School)

Imagine a youth ministry with:
  • passionate worship and relevant life-changing teaching
  • genuine community in weekly small groups that live life on purpose
  • priority for helping teens develop a personal relationship with Christ and His purposes for their life
  • a casual atmosphere where you can ignite friendships...free food and prizes!!!
  • a focus on making an impact on student campuses
  • opportunities to serve peers and others
  • a team of adults committed to caring for students
  • teachable moments for parents and teens

   Share Christ
   Help Others
   Ignite Christlike friendships
   Nurture our faith
Exalt God in all we do

Our goal for Senior High ministry is to allow students ample opportunity to exercise and utilize the multiple talents God has given them.  Senior High Youth (9-12 gr.) are invited to a worship service designed specifically with their needs in mind.  The teaching is relevant to teens, music is led by other youth, and of course dinner is included.  Following worship, students meet in small groups to connect and ignite Christlike friendship.

Shine meets every Sunday at the Trinity Kimberly Way site.  Dinner begins at 6:30 pm, followed by teen led Worship at 7:00 pm.  After Worship, students meet in small groups until 8:30 pm.  Communion is offered once a month at this service.  About once every 6 weeks we host a FUBU (For Us By Us) night, these nights are student planned activities to allow small groups to connect with each other and is a safe environment to bring friends.

We are looking for students to volunteer to help with meal arrangements, set up, drama, teaching, sound reinforcement, worship leaders, musicians, and singers.  The possibilities are endless because this service is for teens by teens!
