Jesus Time

Each preschool program offering has a special Jesus time daily. We center our religious curriculum on the person of Jesus. We reinforce the fact that each individual is a unique and special person created by God, loved by God and loved and accepted by others.

 

Our Jesus-time reflects the Gospel -the Good News that Jesus came into the world at Christmas, ministered to people throughout His life by helping and healing, and loved each one of us enough to die on the cross so that we can live forever in Heaven some day. Therefore, the life of Jesus is the center of our discussion. We also discuss the creation of the world, pointing out that God specially made each one of us.

 

We reinforce these concepts through our respect and care for each child, and our atmosphere of "family" love and concern for individuals. We hug children, model positive interactions with others and compliment growth.
